daily felt

After 3 weeks of guests it was time for a little silence, we sentthe noisy Puckdog and our three darling but talkative kids to my parents. Then proceeded to fling tent,sleeping bag and some provisions in the back of the pickup, piled the silent Bruce dog on top and drove off to yonder horizons....

We walked,read,and met some fluttry creatures on the way. All this in silent quietness...very heavenly! These pictures were taken around the Jotunheimen mountain range in Norway. We live not far from this magical place.

I employed my boys and they drew a totally random number and the winner is..... number 30....Babongo or also known as Nicole!  She is a most wonderful Dutch artist and I am very happy to be making her something tailor made!

3 years I have been selling online now. 3 Years of fantastic support,energising comments,encouragement. Without you all, my readers and commentors I would not have taken my fiber works as far as I have. Long ago I vould have given up and gone on to other things. These I would have dabbled in as usual, never taking it much further than the experimental stage...

I thank you all with my whole heart and wish to give an exeptional present. I will give away not something ready made but a custom order. You the winner may choose the shape, color,size,material....anything you wish. Only one exeption...no dragon skin...these are too hard to find..

The floor on the upper level is in and part of the wall as well. Look there in the corner...there is where my picture studio corner will be. Beautiful light eh

A friend has helped us installing all the wiring and yet an other friend is digging the trench to have the wiring and water run from our main house to the barn. The first window is in and a few window frames a well. One part of the floor has been laid...whooo!

So there I am back again with in tow 4 children and 2 big people. I drove with my boys down to Kristiansand to meet my friends and take a little sightseeing tour. They called me on the way in that their car made a funny sound so when they arrived in Kristiansand we had it checked out by a mechanic. The diagnosis was not very good and it would take at least a week to get it fixed. So we drove on in the hopes of arriving before it gave the ghost. We travelled through the southern part of Norway which is stunning as all of Norway is

On the third day we got up early so as to arrive home on that day in good time. After a mere 25 minutes driving the car screeched loudly and coughed to a rattling halt. Luckily the sun was shining so we sat enjoying the sun while a tow service was on the way to us. Once towed we met my husband who drove to us by pickup at the garage. We unloaded the broken car and flung everything in the pickup and dove home poste haste. in a little less than 4 hours we were home and they pitched their tent in our garden. Now let's hope the car will be fixable or our friends may pitch their tent here for good..
